من دواعي سروري أن أكتب إليكم تلخيص إنجازي ومنذ سنوات دراستي الطبية الأولية وخلال دراستي العليا في حصولي على شهادة الماجستير من الجامعة المستنصرية / بغداد - العراق عام 2005 ، ثم شهادة الدكتوراه من جامعة بريستول / المملكة المتحدة سنة 2012 ، وكانت العاطفة والجرأة بالنسبة لي وما زالت، لتحقيق التميز في الخدمات التعليمية والبحثية والمجتمعية.
سترى من سيرتي الذاتية التي كان لي فيها 20 عاما من تدريس الخبرات في البيئات الأكاديمية المختلفة مع الثقافات الشرقية والغربية المتنوعة بين العراق والمملكة المتحدة، مع حماسي الأول هو تصميم المناهج الدراسية، وإجراء البرامج التعليمية، وإعداد الندوات وإدارة دورات التعلم في المجاميع الصغيرة.
اهتمامي البحثي الحالي يتمحور حول دراسة التغييرات في مصفوفة الأنسجة المتزامن مع الشيخوخة، وانحطاط النسيج الضام، وخاصة الأقراص الفقرية ، في محاولة لشرح كيفية إصابة القرص الفقري يمكن أن تدفع عملية التنكسية التي هي أقرب إلى" الشفاء بالاحباط ".

Dear Readers,
It is of my outmost pleasure to write to you summarizing my life achievement, as since my medical school years (1990-1996) and then through my postgraduate studies doing my MSc in Al-Mustansiriyah University/ Baghdad-Iraq (2005), and then my PhD at University of Bristol/ UK (2012), the passion and assertiveness for me was and still, to achieve excellence in teaching, research and community services that I found it matching the same as my University values and culture.
You will see from my CV that I have had a 17 years of Anatomy teaching experiences in different academic environments with diverse eastern and western cultures between Iraq and UK, with my actual job and enthusiasm is to design curriculum, conduct tutorials, prepare seminars and manage small group learning courses for undergraduate medical students. My main responsibilities as Anatomy teacher are to prepare, administer and supervise students in didactic, practical and interactive learning for gross Anatomy, as well as, Problem Base Learning (PBL) environments.
My current research interest is with tissue matrix changes with aging, and connective tissue degeneration, particularly the intervertebral discs’ degeneration, with me and my team trying to explain how injury to an intervertebral disc can drive a degenerative process that is akin to ‘frustrated healing’.
I wish that my collective anatomy teaching experiences and research interest and achievements would benefit my students and faculties and to add an additional success story to them and me.
