Dr Lateef has taught many topics in the field of translation.She has been specialized in machine translation and translation technology.and has been working on integrating the technological aspects of translation studies and practice in the curricula of translation departments particularly at postgraduate level. She has taught translation theory and methodology and has frequently been course organiser for core courses such as Translation Technology and Internet and Translation. She has also worked on the teaching and methodology of Interpreting with a wide
experience of consecutive and simultaneous interpreting in real events such as conferences. symposia and meetings.
