حصلت على درجتي البكالوريوس والماجستير من جامعة بغداد. وحصلت من جامعة بريمن في المانيا على درجة الدكتوراه في هندسة الحاسبات.
أهتمامي البحثي في الفترة الحالية مركز على تصميم الدوائر الرقمية الانعكاسية (Reversible Circuit Synthesis) ونظم الحساب غير التقليدية مثل النظم متعددة القيم (Multiple-Valued Logic).
